# revenu help centre > How to do the common jobs in a revenu account, and what each screen does. revenu runs websites, AI receptionists, follow-up, bookings and payments for Australian service businesses on one login. Guides are checked against the live app every week. Support: Charlie, revenu's AI support, at charlie@revenu.com.au, any hour. Main site: https://revenu.com.au ## Topics - [Calendars and bookings](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/calendars): Which calendar to use, how to set hours and rules, how to get booked, take deposits, stop no-shows, and fix it when times don't show. - [Events and tickets](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/events): The Events feature (beta) builds a proper event page, sells tickets or takes free RSVPs, sends the emails, and checks people in at the door. - [Reviews and reputation](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/reviews): Ask every customer, the native way or with a workflow, reply fast with AI help, and show your reviews off. - [Getting paid](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/getting-paid): Connect Stripe, then get paid by invoice, link, text, at booking or online, and handle refunds. - [Automations and follow-up](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/automations): Workflows that reply, remind and chase for you, and how to fix them when they don't fire. - [AI agents](https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/topics/ai): An AI receptionist on the phone, a chat agent on your site, Ask AI in the app, and Content AI for posts and emails. ## Common jobs ### New leads aren't coming through https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/leads-not-coming-through A form, chat or call went quiet. Work down this list before anything else. 1. Send a test from your phone, off the office wifi: Fill in your own form or start a chat on mobile data. Some office networks and ad blockers stop forms loading, so a test from the desk can fail when the form is fine. 2. Check the contact landed (CRM > Contacts): Search your name in Contacts. If you're there, the form works and the problem is the notification, not the lead. 3. Look in spam and promotions: Lead alerts from a new sending address often land in spam the first few times. Mark one as not spam and add the address to your contacts. 4. Check your account is paid up (Settings > Billing): If a card payment failed, automations pause until it clears. Settings > Billing shows the status and lets you update the card. 5. Facebook or Instagram lead forms: check the connection (Settings > Integrations): Social lead forms stop flowing when the Facebook connection expires or a new form isn't mapped. Reconnect under Settings > Integrations, then send a test lead. 6. Still nothing? Send Charlie the details: Tell Charlie which form or channel, roughly when it stopped, and send a screenshot. He checks the account and passes it to Adam with everything attached. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Take a deposit when someone books https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/take-a-deposit-at-booking Ask for a deposit or full payment up front so no-shows cost them, not you. 1. Connect your payment account (Commerce > Payment Integrations): If you haven't already, connect Stripe or your payment provider. Bookings can only take money once this is done. 2. Open your calendars (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Go to Meeting Calendars. Use the breadcrumb at the top to jump there from anywhere in CRM. 3. Edit the calendar: Click the pencil on the calendar you want to charge for. 4. Turn on payments and set the amount: Open Advanced settings, then Payments. Switch on Accept payments (1), choose Charge upfront or Save card on file (2) and set the full price (3). For a deposit, switch on Accept partial payment (4) and enter the amount or percentage (5). Then Save changes. 5. Book a test: Open the booking link yourself and go through to the payment step, so you see exactly what customers see. Doing it properly: Show the deposit amount and your cancellation and refund terms before they pay. Under Australian Consumer Law the terms have to be clear up front. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Reply to customers from one inbox https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/reply-from-one-inbox Texts, emails, chats, calls and socials, all in one thread per customer. 1. Open Conversations (CRM > Conversations > Inbox): Everything customers send lands here, whichever channel they used. 2. Start with Unread: New enquiries sit in Unread until someone opens them. 3. Open the customer: Click a row. The whole history with that person opens in the middle: every message, every channel, oldest at the top. 4. Reply on their channel: Type in the reply box. The picker on the left chooses SMS, email or the channel they used. Replying where they messaged gets the fastest answer. 5. Book or bill without leaving: The side panel has their appointments, notes and payments, so you can book them in or send a payment link mid-chat. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Share your booking link or put it on your website https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/share-your-booking-link Get the link for texts and emails, or put the calendar straight on your site. 1. Open Meeting Calendars (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Every calendar you have is listed here. 2. Click Share calendar: The arrow icon on the calendar's row. You get four tabs: Scheduling link (1), One time link (2) for a link that works once, Embed code (3) and QR code (4) for printed material. 3. Copy the link for messages: Click Copy (5) and paste it into texts, emails, your social bio or your email signature. Your link starts with link.revenu.com.au. 4. Or copy the embed for your website: Open Embed code, click Copy and paste it where the calendar should sit on your page. If revenu built your site, ask Charlie and he'll pass it to Adam to place. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Text back missed calls automatically https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/turn-on-missed-call-text-back Miss a call on the tools and the caller gets a text in seconds. 1. Open Phone System, then Voice (Settings > Communications > Phone System > Voice): Go to Settings > Communications > Phone System and click the Voice tab (1). 2. Open Missed Call Text Back: Click Voicemail & Missed Call TextBack (2), then Missed Call Text Back on the left (3). 3. Tick Enable Missed call textback: Tick the box (4). There's a WhatsApp version underneath if your customers use WhatsApp. 4. Write the message: Click Customize (5). Keep it short and say who you are. Copy this one and swap in your name and business, then save. 5. Test it: Ring your number from another phone and let it go unanswered. The text should arrive within seconds, and the reply lands in Conversations. Doing it properly: Name your business in the text so the caller knows who it's from. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Ask for a Google review after a job https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/ask-for-reviews Send a review request by text or email, or have it go out after every job. 1. Connect Google (and Facebook if you use it) (Marketing > Reputation > Settings): In Reputation settings, connect the profiles you want reviews on. 2. Set the request message: Write the text and email customers get. Keep it personal and short, and sign off with a real name. 3. Send one now (Marketing > Reputation > Requests): Under Reputation > Requests, pick the customer and send. 4. Or send one after every job (Automations > Workflows): Add a Send review request step to a workflow, for example after an appointment is marked showed or an invoice is paid. Ask Charlie if you'd like it set up and he'll pass it to Adam. Doing it properly: Ask every customer the same way. Only asking the happy ones, or offering a reward for a review, breaks Google's rules and can mislead under Australian Consumer Law. Review texts and emails go to customers you've done work for. Keep an unsubscribe option on anything sent automatically. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Connect Claude to your revenu account https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/connect-claude Let Claude read and work in your contacts, bookings and pipeline, in plain English. 1. Open Connectors in Claude: In Claude on a computer, open Settings. Under Customize, click Connectors (1). Click + Add (2), then Add custom connector (3). 2. Connect and pick your account: revenu now shows in your connectors list. Click Connect next to it, sign in with your revenu login, and choose the account Claude should work in. Approve it. No key, no code. 4. Check it works: Start a new chat and paste this in. If it lists your pipelines back, you're connected. 5. Put it to work: A few to start with. Copy one into a new chat. Doing it properly: Claude acts as you in the account you pick. You can disconnect it any time from Claude's Connectors settings. Open Users (Settings > Users): Go to Settings, then Users. 2. Add the person: Add their name, email and mobile. They'll get an email with a link to set their password. 3. Choose what they can see: Pick their role, then switch off anything they don't need. Front desk might only need Conversations and Calendars. 4. Put them on calendars (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): If they take bookings, add them to the right calendars so customers can book them. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Connect ChatGPT to your revenu account https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/connect-chatgpt Use ChatGPT to look things up and get work done in your account. 1. Turn on Developer mode: In ChatGPT on a computer, open Settings and switch on Developer mode. It's one toggle, not programming. 2. Add revenu as an app: Add an app. Name it revenu, paste the connection address, choose OAuth for authentication, and click Create. 3. Sign in and pick your account: Sign in with your revenu login, choose the account and approve it. 4. Use it in a chat: Start a chat, pick revenu from the plus menu, then paste a first question. Doing it properly: ChatGPT acts as you in the account you pick. Remove the app in ChatGPT's settings to disconnect it. Full guide: https://revenu.com.au/theflow/connect-chatgpt Checked 2026-10-29. ### Send an email to your customer list https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/send-an-email-campaign Build an email, pick who gets it, send now or schedule it. 1. Start a campaign (Marketing > Emails > Campaigns): Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns and create a new one. 2. Build or choose the email: Start from a template or your brand's design. Lead with one thing you want them to do. 3. Pick who gets it (CRM > Contacts > Smart Lists): Choose a tag or smart list of customers who've opted in. Leave out anyone marked do not disturb. 4. Check the footer: Make sure your business name, contact details and an unsubscribe link are in the email. 5. Send a test, then send or schedule: Send yourself a test first. Then choose Send now or Schedule. Doing it properly: Only send to people who agreed to hear from you or have bought from you. That's the Spam Act. Every email names your business, shows how to reach you, and has a working unsubscribe. Set up your sending domain first. Without SPF, DKIM and DMARC, most of it lands in spam. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Customers say there are no times to book https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/fix-a-calendar-that-wont-book Find out why a calendar shows nothing, and fix it. 1. Open Meeting Calendars (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Find the calendar customers are using. 2. Check it's active: Inactive calendars don't take bookings. Use the status filter to find any that are switched off. 3. Run Troubleshoot calendar: Click the tools icon on the row. It checks the calendar and points out what is stopping times from showing. 4. Check hours and team: Edit the calendar and check the available hours, how far ahead people can book, and that the right team members are on it. Checked 2026-10-29. ### My Australian number stopped calling or texting https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/my-number-stopped-working Since 1 July 2026 every Australian number must be linked to a registered business bundle, or it stops working. 1. Why it happens: Australian rules now require every local +61 number to be registered to a real business. The registration is called a regulatory bundle: your business name, ABN, address and an authorised person. A number with no bundle linked can stop sending and receiving, and can be taken back. 2. Check your number (Settings > Communications > Phone System): Go to Settings > Communications > Phone System > Phone numbers. If a number shows a warning or the phone system asks for configuration, the bundle is missing or not linked. 3. Send revenu your details: revenu registers the bundle for you. Send support these, and we'll link it to every number on your account. 4. Test it: Once it's linked, call the number from your mobile and send a test text to yourself. Full guide: https://revenu.com.au/support Checked 2026-10-29. ### Reply to new leads the moment they enquire https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/reply-to-new-leads-instantly Someone fills in your form and gets a text and email straight back, even at 10pm. 1. Create a workflow (Automations > Workflows): Go to Automations > Workflows and create a new workflow. 2. Start it when the form is sent: Add a trigger, choose Form submitted under Events, and filter it to the exact form so it only fires for that one. 3. Send the reply: Add an action, then Communication > Send SMS or Send Email. Use their first name, say who you are and what happens next. 4. Test it on yourself: Fill the form in with your own details and check the reply lands on your phone and in your inbox. 5. Publish: Save and publish. From now on every new enquiry gets an answer in seconds. Doing it properly: Name your business in every message and include a way to opt out (reply STOP for SMS, an unsubscribe link for email). That's the Spam Act. Skip contacts marked do not disturb. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Why didn't my text send? https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/why-didnt-my-text-send Read the error on the message, then fix the cause before trying again. 1. Find the error: Open the conversation. A failed text has a red mark. Hover or click it to see the reason or error code. 2. They opted out: If it says the contact unsubscribed (code 21610), they replied STOP. Only they can undo it, by texting START to your number. Don't try to work around it. 3. Do Not Disturb is on: Open the contact and look at DND. If they've asked to hear from you again (for example they filled in a new form), turn DND off for SMS. A new form doesn't clear it automatically. 4. Carrier filtering: If it says filtered or undeliverable (code 30007), the carrier blocked it. Usual causes: link shorteners, ALL CAPS, lots of identical texts at once, or no business name. Rewrite it plainly with your business name, use your full link, and send in smaller batches. 5. Wallet or number: If many texts fail at once, check your wallet balance and that your number is registered. Doing it properly: Every marketing text needs your business name and a way to opt out, like 'Reply STOP to opt out'. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Send appointment reminders https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/send-appointment-reminders A text or email goes out when someone books, so fewer people forget. 1. Create a workflow (Automations > Workflows): Go to Automations > Workflows and create a new workflow. 2. Start it when someone books: Add a trigger under Appointments: Customer booked appointment, or Appointment status. Filter it to the right calendar. 3. Add the reminder: Add an action, then Communication > Send SMS or Send Email. Include the day, time, address and how to reschedule. 4. Test and publish: Book yourself in on that calendar and check the message arrives, then publish. Doing it properly: Keep it to the appointment. If you add offers or promotions it becomes marketing and needs consent and an opt-out. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Why isn't my workflow working? https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/why-isnt-my-workflow-firing The ten things that quietly stop automations, and how to check each in a minute. 1. It's still a draft: A workflow only runs when it's Published. Check the switch at the top and save. 2. Check Enrollment History: Open the workflow's Enrollment History. If the contact is listed, the trigger worked and the problem is in a later step. If they're not listed, it's the trigger or its filters. 3. A filter doesn't match: Trigger filters must match exactly: the right form, the right calendar, the right pipeline and stage. If you have two forms with the same name, make sure you picked the one on your live page. 4. Surveys need the survey trigger: Form Submitted doesn't fire for surveys. Use Survey Submitted. 5. They already went through: By default someone can only enter once. Turn on Allow Re-entry in the workflow's Settings if they should go through again (another booking, a reschedule, a status change). 6. Bookings you made yourself: Filters like 'modified by customer' or a status of New skip bookings staff make. Widen the filter or remove it. 7. Opportunity triggers: Opportunity Created only fires when it's made. To act when a deal moves, use Pipeline Stage Changed and pick both the pipeline and the stage. 8. Messages at the wrong time (Settings > Business Profile): Waits and send windows use your business time zone. Check it in Settings > Business Profile. 9. The contact is on DND: Messages to a contact on Do Not Disturb are skipped. Check the contact. 10. Still stuck: Ask Charlie with the workflow name and the contact, and we'll look. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Move jobs through your pipeline automatically https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/move-leads-through-your-pipeline Set up stages like Enquiry, Quoted, Booked, Done, and let bookings move cards along. 1. Set up your stages (CRM > Opportunities > Pipeline): Go to CRM > Opportunities > Pipelines, create a pipeline, and add stages that match how a job really runs. 2. Create a workflow (Automations > Workflows): Go to Automations > Workflows and create a new workflow. 3. Pick what moves the card: Add a trigger, for example Customer booked appointment, or an opportunity trigger filtered to a pipeline and stage. 4. Move it: Add a Create Opportunity or Update Opportunity action and choose the stage it should land in. 5. Publish: Save and publish, then book a test to watch the card move. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Sync your Google or Outlook calendar so you don't get double booked https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/stop-double-bookings Connect your calendar so busy times block bookings, and bookings show on your phone. 1. How sync works: Your connected calendar does two jobs. Conflicts: anything busy on it blocks those times in revenu. Add to: new revenu bookings are written into it so they're on your phone. 2. Connect it (CRM > Calendars > Connections): Go to CRM > Calendars > Connections and connect Google or Outlook. Each staff member connects their own. 3. Pick the conflict calendars: Choose which of your calendars count as busy (personal, family, other work). Then choose the one bookings are added to. 4. If times are still blocked or missing: A deleted event can keep blocking a time for a while. Delete it in your calendar app, then refresh. If you reconnected, anything booked while it was disconnected may need to be re-added. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Send an invoice https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/send-an-invoice Pick the customer, add the work, send it by email or text and get paid by card. 1. Start an invoice (Commerce > Invoices & Estimates): Go to Commerce > Invoices & Estimates and create a new invoice. 2. Pick the customer and dates: Choose the contact, then check the invoice number, issue date and due date. 3. Add the work: Add products or services from your catalogue and adjust the price or quantity for this job. 4. Add GST and any discount: Add the GST tax line, and a discount if you're giving one. 5. Send it: Send by email or SMS. The customer gets a link to view and pay. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Which calendar do I need? Every type explained https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/which-calendar-type Personal, round robin, class, collective, event calendar, service booking, rentals or Events. Pick in 30 seconds. 1. Where they live (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Go to CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars and click + New calendar. You'll see the main four, and Explore more types for the rest. 2. Personal booking: just you: One-on-one time with one specific person. Quotes, consultations, a session with the owner. Most small businesses start here. 3. Round robin: share the work: Customers book a time and revenu gives it to whichever team member is free, taking turns. Sales calls, site visits, a team of techs. You can weight it towards some people or always offer whoever's free. 4. Class booking: one host, many people: A set time with a number of seats. Yoga, group training, workshops, an online class. Bookings stop when it's full. 5. Collective booking: several of you at once: Only offers times when every person on the calendar is free, and books them all. Two installers on one job, a panel interview, a joint consult. 6. Event calendar: a time slot with no host: Bookable times that aren't tied to a staff member, like a room, a tour or a seminar session. It has a few key differences, so read the notice when you pick it. 7. Service booking: a menu of services (CRM > Calendars > Services): Lists your services with their own price, length and staff, and customers pick the service first. Salons, clinics, detailers, repair shops. Set it up under CRM > Calendars > Services. 8. Rentals: hire by the day (CRM > Calendars > Rentals): For things people hire for days at a time, with stock, add-ons and fees. Under CRM > Calendars > Rentals (beta). 9. Events: tickets and RSVPs (Client Apps > Events): Not a calendar at all. A full event page with ticket types, a checkout, reminders and QR check-in at the door. Under Client Apps > Events (beta). Checked 2026-10-29. ### Create a payment link https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/create-a-payment-link A link customers tap to pay, for anything you sell. Share it anywhere. 1. Open Payment Links (Commerce > Payment Links): Go to Commerce > Payment Links and create a new one. 2. Choose what it's for: Pick the products or services and any options. 3. Copy and share: Copy the link and send it in a message, an email or put it on your site. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Set up a service menu with staff, prices and durations https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/set-up-a-service-menu Customers pick a service (cut and colour, full detail, 60-minute massage), then a staff member and a time. 1. How service booking works: Instead of one calendar per service, you build a menu. Each service has its own price, length, staff and photo. The booking page shows the menu, the customer picks, and only the staff who do that service are offered. 2. Open Services (CRM > Calendars > Services): Go to CRM > Calendars > Services. The tabs across the top are Services, Staff, Locations, Booking pages and Global settings. The Onboarding start guide walks you through them in order. 3. Make categories first: Click + New category for each group on your menu, like Cuts, Colour, Treatments. Drag them into the order you want; the booking page follows it. 4. Add each service: Click + New service. Add a photo, name, colour, category and description, then pick the staff, price and duration. Tick private if it shouldn't show on the menu (you can still send its link). 5. Set staff hours and locations: On the Staff tab, set each person's working hours. On Locations, add your address (or each branch). 6. Publish the booking page: On Booking pages, create the page customers use, then View booking page to test it and share or embed the link. 7. Global settings: Set the rules that apply to every service: notice, how far ahead, cancellation and reschedule policy, and notifications. Doing it properly: Show prices including GST. If you take a deposit or have a late-cancel fee, say so on the booking page before they pay. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Get paid by text in the middle of a chat https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/text-to-pay Send a pay-now link right inside the conversation. They pay from their phone. 1. Open the conversation (CRM > Conversations > Inbox): Go to CRM > Conversations and open the customer. 2. Choose Text2Pay: In the reply area, choose the Text2Pay option and pick the product or enter the amount. 3. Send it: Send. The customer taps the link and pays. 4. Check it came through (Commerce > Transactions): The payment shows in Commerce > Transactions. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Set your hours and booking rules properly https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/set-hours-and-booking-rules Working hours, one-off days, appointment length, start times, notice, buffers and daily limits, all in one place. 1. Open the calendar (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars, then the pencil on the calendar. 2. Availability: your weekly hours: Tick each day you work and set the hours. Use + to add a second block (say 8 to 12 and 1 to 5 for a lunch break). Check the time zone at the top. 3. Date specific hours: For a one-off change (a late night, a short Friday), click Add date specific hours. It needs recurring meetings turned off. 4. Booking rules: length and start times: Meeting duration is how long it lasts. Meeting interval is how often a time is offered (every 30 minutes, every hour). Add another duration lets the customer choose, say, 30 or 60 minutes. 5. Booking rules: notice, range and buffers: Minimum scheduling notice stops last-minute bookings. Date range sets how far ahead people can book. Pre and post buffer leave gaps around each booking. Max bookings per day and per slot cap your load. 6. Save and test: Click Save changes, then open the booking link in a private window to check the times look right. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Import your customer list https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/import-your-contacts Bring your existing customers in from a spreadsheet in a few minutes. 1. Start the import (CRM > Contacts): Go to CRM > Contacts and click Import Contacts. 2. Choose what you're importing: Pick contacts only, or contacts with opportunities. 3. Upload and choose new or update: Upload the CSV and choose whether to add new contacts or update ones you already have. Updates match on contact ID, then email, then phone. 4. Match the columns: Map each column to a field. Skip any you don't need. 5. Confirm and import: Confirm you have permission to contact these people, then start the import. 6. Check the results: Under Bulk Actions you can see how it went and download any rows that failed. Doing it properly: Only import people you're allowed to contact. A bought list doesn't count, under the Spam Act or the Privacy Act. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Run an event with tickets: the whole thing https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/run-an-event-with-tickets Build the event page, sell tickets (or take free RSVPs), send reminders and check people in at the door. Beta. 1. What Events does: Events is a full event system: a public event page, ticket types with prices and limits, coupon codes, a checkout, automatic emails before and after, and QR check-in from the mobile app. Every person who registers becomes a contact, so your follow-up runs like any other lead. 2. Create it and pick the type (Client Apps > Events): Go to Client Apps > Events and click Create your event. Ticketed sells tickets with one or more price tiers. RSVP is free, guests just confirm. 3. Details: Name, cover image, a one-line summary (shows in listings, 160 characters) and the full description. 4. Date, place and host: Set the start and end, time zone and time format. Choose In-person (search the address) or Online. Add the organiser name, email, website and phone. Then Create event. It's saved as a draft. 5. Follow the checklist: The Overview tab shows what's left: create tickets, connect payments, review the checkout form, notifications and pages, then publish. 6. Add tickets: Tickets > Add Ticket Type. Name it, choose Fixed price or Free, set the price in AUD, quantity, max per order and the sale period. Advanced settings has a short description and whether it's shown or hidden. Coupon Codes sits next to Ticket Types. 7. Settings: Registration: the deadline, an overall venue capacity, QR check-in and whether to collect each guest's name. Payments: live or test mode. Notifications: what organisers and guests get. Link & tracking: the event's web address and your Meta pixel. 8. Make the page look right: Pages & design controls the event page, schedule and checkout. Drag sections up or down, switch them off, add FAQs, a schedule and speakers, and check desktop and phone. Copy from another event saves time next time. 9. Preview, then publish: Click Preview, run a test registration in test mode, then Publish event. Share it from the menu, or embed it on your website or funnel. Doing it properly: Show the full ticket price including GST and fees, and your refund policy, before checkout. Registration emails are transactional. If you also want to market future events to guests, ask for consent on the checkout form. Say in your privacy policy that you use a Meta pixel if you add one. Pick your Page and Instagram (Marketing > Social Planner): Choose the Facebook Page and the Instagram account linked to it. 3. Checked 2026-10-28. ### Win back customers you haven't seen in a while https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/win-back-old-customers Reach the people who already know you. Usually the cheapest work you'll get all year. 1. Build the list (CRM > Contacts > Smart Lists): In CRM > Contacts > Smart Lists, filter to past customers who agreed to hear from you and haven't booked in a while. 2. Simple way: tag and follow up: Tag them, then build a workflow with the Contact tag trigger and a Send SMS or Send Email action, as in Reply to new leads. 3. AI way: start an AI campaign: From the Smart List, start an AI campaign. Your AI agent texts each person and handles the replies. Ask Charlie to have it switched on first. 4. Test on yourself, then launch: Send it to your own number first. Then schedule it, or drip it out over a few days. See the rates: Current rates are at revenu.com.au/usage. The SMS cost calculator there shows what a text costs before you send it. 3. Here's how it fills, drains and tops up. 1. It's a prepaid balance: Your account has a wallet. Every text, call minute, email and AI reply takes a few cents from it as it happens. Your monthly plan is separate and doesn't come out of the wallet. 2. What drains it fastest: Long texts (they split into several segments), calls, and AI agents having lots of conversations. A quiet month costs very little. 3. Auto top-up keeps it running (Settings > Billing): Set a threshold and a top-up amount under Settings > Billing. When the balance drops below the threshold, it tops up from your card so nothing stops sending. 4. Figures can lag a little: Usage can take up to five minutes to show. If a number looks off straight after a big send, check again shortly. 5. See today's rates: Rates are in Australian dollars at today's exchange rate on the usage page. Doing it properly: If the wallet runs dry and auto top-up is off, sending stops until it's topped up. Leave auto top-up on. Full guide: https://revenu.com.au/usage Checked 2026-10-29. ### What makes an SMS segment (and why some texts cost more) https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/what-makes-an-sms-segment Texts are billed in segments. One emoji can double the cost. Here's the rule. 1. One segment is 160 characters: A plain text up to 160 characters is one segment, billed once. 2. Longer texts split: Past 160 characters the text splits into parts of 153 characters each (a few characters go on stitching them back together). A 300-character text is two segments. 3. Emoji and some symbols change the rule: One emoji, a curly quote or certain symbols switch the whole text to a different character set. Then it's 70 characters per segment, or 67 per part when it splits. The same message can suddenly cost two or three times as much. 4. Check before you send: Paste your message into the SMS cost calculator. It shows the segments and the cost in AUD before you hit send. 5. Keep it lean: Use straight quotes, skip emoji in bulk sends, and put links at the end. AI Studio builds the whole site from a conversation, and it's best for something custom or interactive. Pick the builder if you like to see and move things. 2. Create the site (Sites > Websites): Go to Sites > Websites, click + New website, and start from a template or a blank page. 3. Set your styles first: Before building pages, set your fonts and colours in the site settings so every page matches. Changing them later then changes them everywhere. 4. Add your pages: Add one page per item in your menu. Give each a short path. 5. Build the menu and footer once: Make the header (logo, menu, phone, book button) and footer as global sections. Edit them once and they update on every page. 6. Add a form and a booking calendar: Drop a Form element on Contact and a Calendar element where people book. Both send people straight into your contacts. 7. Fill in the SEO settings for every page: In each page's settings, write the title and description Google shows. Keep the title under 60 characters and the description under 155. 8. Connect your domain and publish: Pick your domain in the site settings, then publish each page. Check it on your phone before you tell anyone. Doing it properly: Every form that collects details links to your privacy policy. Use photos you own or have a licence for. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Get more from AI Studio: prompts that work https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/get-more-from-ai-studio How to talk to AI Studio so it builds what you mean, fixes things cleanly and publishes to your domain. 1. How it works: AI Studio writes a real website or web app from what you tell it, shows a live preview, and keeps a history of every change. You talk to it like a designer. The clearer the brief, the less fixing later. 2. Open it (Sites > AI Studio): Go to Sites > AI Studio (also under AI > AI Studio) and start a new project. 3. Start with a full brief: Give it who you are, who it's for, the pages, the feel and the one action you want. Paste this and fill in the brackets. 4. Change one thing at a time: Small, specific requests work best. Say where, what and how. 5. Ask for SEO properly: Ask it to set titles, descriptions and structured data on every page. 6. Go back if it goes wrong: Every change is saved in the history. If a change breaks something, roll back to the version before it rather than asking it to undo by hand. 7. Publish and connect your domain: Click Publish, then add your domain in the project's domain settings. Publishing again pushes new changes live. Doing it properly: Check any facts, prices or claims it writes before you publish. Forms need a privacy policy link and a consent line if you'll message people. How tracking works: A pixel is a small code on your pages. When someone visits or fills in a form, it tells the ad platform. The ad platform then shows your ads to similar people and tells you which ads made money. No pixel, no learning. 2. Funnels and websites: add it once in settings: Open the funnel or website, go to its Settings, and paste the code into the Head tracking code box. It then loads on every page of that site. 3. One page only: add it to that page: To fire an event on one page only (like Lead on the thank-you page), open the page's settings and paste the event code into that page's tracking code box. 4. Use this for a lead event: On the thank-you page only, add the Lead event under your base pixel code. 5. Sites outside revenu (Sites > External Tracking): If your main website lives somewhere else, Sites > External Tracking gives you a script to put on that site so visits and forms still show in revenu's attribution. 6. Check it fires: Open your page with Meta Pixel Helper or Google Tag Assistant running, or watch the test events screen in Meta Events Manager while you submit a test form. Doing it properly: Say in your privacy policy that you use tracking and advertising cookies. Don't send health details or other sensitive information to ad platforms. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Write posts, emails, blogs and images with Content AI https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/write-with-content-ai Content AI is the writing and image helper built into the social planner, email builder, blogs, funnels and inbox. 1. Where it lives (AI > Content AI): You don't open Content AI to write. You use it inside the tool you're in: the AI or sparkle button in the social post composer, the email builder, the blog editor, the funnel and website builder, and the inbox reply box. The Content AI page itself shows what you've generated and what it cost. 2. Give it a proper brief: It writes better when it knows the who, what and tone. Paste and fill in. 3. Make images: In the composer or builder, switch to image, describe the picture (subject, setting, style, colours) and pick the one you like. Images you generate appear under the Image tab of Content AI. 4. Edit before you post: Read it out loud. Swap anything that doesn't sound like you, check facts and prices, and cut it by a third. 5. Know the cost: Words and images are charged from your wallet. The Content AI page shows total words, cost and words per day. Doing it properly: Check claims, prices and testimonials it writes. You're responsible for what you publish. Don't present AI images as real photos of your work. Full guide: https://revenu.com.au/usage Checked 2026-10-29. ### Social Planner: every part explained https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/social-planner-tour Plan, write, schedule and reply to every social channel from one calendar. 1. Connect your accounts (Marketing > Social Planner): Go to Marketing > Social Planner. Click + Connect on each network: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and also Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business Profile and your Community. Use the admin login for each page. 2. Planner: The calendar and list of everything scheduled, posted and in draft. Click a day to create a post for that day, or drag a post to move it. 3. Create a post: Pick the accounts, write once, then tweak per channel if you need to (Instagram needs an image, Google posts suit a button). Add images or video, then post now, schedule, or save as a draft. 4. Content library: Your saved images, videos and drafts, so you're not hunting through your phone every time. 5. Bulk, evergreen, recurring and RSS: Upload a month of posts from a CSV, keep a library of evergreen posts that recycle on a schedule, set posts that repeat weekly, or post automatically from a blog's RSS feed. 6. Comments: Replies to your posts from all channels in one place, so you can answer without opening each app. 7. Statistics: Reach, engagement and follower growth by channel and date range. Use it to see which posts are worth repeating. 8. Approvals and team: If someone else drafts your posts, turn on approvals in the planner's settings so nothing goes live until you say so. 9. Let someone else connect: If the person with the logins isn't you, click Send social connect invite and they connect the accounts from a link. Doing it properly: Posts you make straight inside Facebook or Instagram may not show in the planner. Post from revenu if you want one calendar of everything. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Schedule a month of social posts from a spreadsheet https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/bulk-schedule-social-posts Write your posts in a CSV, upload once, and the planner schedules them all. 1. Why bulk: Sitting down once a month beats posting every day. You write everything in a spreadsheet, upload it, and the planner does the rest. 2. Get the template (Marketing > Social Planner): In Marketing > Social Planner, create a post and choose the bulk CSV option, then download the sample CSV. Use that exact file so the columns match. 3. Fill it in: One row per post: the date and time, the post text and a link to any image. Keep dates in the format the sample uses. 4. Upload and pick accounts: Upload the CSV, choose which accounts the posts go to, then review the preview. Fix any row it flags. 5. Check the planner: Open the Planner and scroll the month. Move anything that clashes with a holiday or event. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Recycle evergreen posts, repeat posts and post from your blog https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/recycle-evergreen-posts Keep your feed busy without writing new posts every week. 1. Evergreen queue: Evergreen posts are ones that are always true: tips, reviews, a reminder of what you do. Add them to a category queue and the planner cycles through them on the schedule you set. 2. Recurring posts: For things that happen on a rhythm (a weekly special, a Friday reminder), set the post to repeat on chosen days and times. 3. Post from RSS: Add your blog's RSS feed and the planner creates posts from new articles automatically. Your revenu blog has one, so new articles can go straight to social. 4. Check in monthly: Look at Statistics once a month and drop the evergreen posts nobody engages with. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Run Facebook, Google and LinkedIn ads from Ad Manager https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/run-ads-from-revenu Create, launch and report on ads without leaving revenu, with leads landing straight in your contacts. 1. How it works: Ad Manager connects to your ad accounts. You build the ad here, it publishes to the platform, and your ad spend is still billed by Facebook, Google or LinkedIn. Leads from lead forms come straight into revenu so follow-up starts instantly. 2. Turn it on (Marketing > Ad Manager): Go to Marketing > Ad Manager and click Activate Ads Manager, then connect your ad accounts. 3. Start from a template: Pick a ready-made template for your goal and industry. It fills in the structure so you only change the words, images and budget. 4. Set the audience and budget: Choose the area (suburbs or a radius), age range and interests. Start small and let it run a week before judging it. 5. Launch and watch the numbers (Reporting > Reports): Results show by campaign, ad group, ad and keyword. Look at cost per lead and how many booked, not just clicks. Reporting > Reports > Meta Ads and Google Ads show the same numbers alongside your bookings. Doing it properly: Ads that collect details need your privacy policy linked. Don't make claims you can't back up, like guaranteed results or 'cheapest in Melbourne'. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Custom fields and folders: what they are and how to make one https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/custom-fields-explained Fields are the boxes on a contact that hold your own details, like job type or pet's name. Folders group them. 1. What a custom field is: Every contact has standard boxes: name, phone, email. A custom field is a box you add for something your business needs, like Job type, Pet's name or Renewal date. Once it exists, forms can fill it, workflows can use it, and you can filter and personalise messages by it. 2. Fields belong to a record type (CRM > Custom Fields): A field sits on a contact, an opportunity, a company or a task. Pick the one where the detail lives. A contact's birthday goes on the contact. A job's value goes on the opportunity. 3. Folders keep the contact tidy: Folders are headings on the contact record, like Job details or Preferences. Related fields sit together instead of in one long list. Make the folder first with Create folder. 4. Create the field: Click Create field, choose the type, the record, the name and the folder. Pick the type carefully: a Dropdown keeps answers consistent so you can filter by them later; Single line is free text. 5. Use the key anywhere: Each field gets a key like {{contact.job_type}}. Paste it into a text, email or page and it fills in that contact's answer. 6. Locked fields: Fields with a padlock are built in. You can't delete them, but you can still use them. Doing it properly: Only collect what you need. Don't add fields for health or other sensitive details unless you truly need them and say why on the form. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Custom values: change it once, update it everywhere https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/custom-values-explained A custom value is one piece of business info (your booking link, phone, address) that every message and page can reuse. 1. Fields vs values: A custom field is different for every contact (their job type). A custom value is the same for everyone (your booking link). Put your booking link in a custom value, use it in 20 messages, and when the link changes you change it once. 2. Open them (CRM > Custom Values): Go to CRM > Custom Values. You'll see the name, the key and the current value. 3. Add the ones every business needs: Click Add custom value. Start with these. 4. Copy the key and use it: Click the copy icon next to the key and paste it into any text, email, form, page or AI prompt. It shows the value when sent. 5. Group them in folders: Use Add folder to keep them tidy, for example Links, Contact details, Offers. Doing it properly: A form can't change a custom value. If it needs to change per person, it's a custom field. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Smart lists: segment your contacts and why it pays https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/smart-lists-and-segments Save a filtered view of your contacts (like 'customers from last year who haven't booked') and message only them. 1. Why segment: Sending the same message to everyone gets ignored. Sending the right message to the right group gets bookings. A smart list is a saved filter that keeps itself up to date: new contacts that match drop in automatically. 2. Open contacts and filter (CRM > Contacts): Go to CRM > Contacts. Click Filters and add conditions: tags, last activity, created date, a custom field, source and more. 3. Segments worth saving: Start with these. Name them so anyone on your team knows what's in them. 4. Save it as a list: When the filters are right, save the view. It appears as a tab across the top next to All, so it's one click next time. 5. Act on the list: Tick contacts (or all) to send a text or email, add a tag, or add them to a workflow. Or click AI campaign to have AI write and run a campaign to that list. 6. Choose your columns: Pick which details show in the table with the columns button, so the list shows what you need at a glance. Doing it properly: Only market to contacts who agreed to hear from you, and every message needs a way to opt out. Contacts marked Do Not Disturb are skipped automatically. Leave them that way. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Set up your dashboard so it shows what matters https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/set-up-your-dashboard Pick the numbers you check every week, filter by date, and get an AI summary in plain words. 1. What the dashboard is for: It's your Monday morning view: leads in, bookings, money won, how fast you reply. It only helps if it shows your numbers, so trim it to the few that matter. 2. Make your own dashboard (Dashboard): Click + New next to the dashboard name to make a fresh one, or use the dashboard switcher to move between them. Keep the default and make one called Weekly. 3. Edit and add widgets: Click Edit dashboard, then add widgets: opportunity status and value, conversion rate, funnel, appointments, lead sources, calls, reviews. Drag to arrange and resize, then save. 4. Filter each widget: Each widget has its own settings button: pick the pipeline, calendar or user it reports on. 5. Pick the date range: Use the date picker at the top (last 7 days, last 30 days, custom). Every widget follows it. 6. Ask for the summary: Click Dashboard summary for an AI read of what's up, what's down and what to look at. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Build a custom report and send it on a schedule https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/build-a-custom-report A multi-page report you design once, that emails itself to you or your team every week or month. 1. Dashboard or report?: A dashboard is live and on screen. A custom report is a document: several pages, your commentary, and it can be sent automatically on a schedule. Use reports for monthly reviews and for anyone who never logs in. 2. Start a report (Reporting > Custom reports): Go to Reporting > Custom reports and click Create your first report (or + New). 3. Pick a starting point: Blank, a template from the library, a clone of one you've made, or import a dashboard you already like. 4. Add the pages and charts: Drag in charts and tables, add text boxes for your takeaways, and set the date range. 5. Write the takeaway at the top: People read the first line. Put the point there. 6. Schedule it: Set a delivery schedule and the people it goes to, so it lands in inboxes on the first of the month without you touching it. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Find call logs, recordings and call stats https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/find-call-logs-and-recordings Every call in and out: who called, when, how long, the outcome and the recording. 1. One contact's calls: Open the contact (or their conversation). Each call shows in the timeline with its length, direction and, if recording is on, a play button and transcript. 2. All calls (Reporting > Reports > Call): Go to Reporting > Reports > Call. Pick the date range and number, and switch between Incoming and Outgoing. 3. Read the charts: Call by status shows answered, missed and voicemail. First-time calls shows how many were new callers. Top call sources shows which ads, numbers or pages made the phone ring. 4. Filter it down: Use Filters for a user, a source, or only missed calls. Missed calls are your quickest win: call them back today. 5. AI calls are separate (AI > Agent Logs): Calls your AI receptionist handled are in AI > Agent Logs, with the transcript and what it did. Doing it properly: Recordings only exist if call recording is on, and callers must be told the call is recorded. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Leaderboards: reward your community and affiliates https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/use-leaderboards Points, levels and rankings that keep members and referrers engaged. 1. Two leaderboards: Communities have a leaderboard where members earn points for posting, commenting and liking and move up levels. Affiliate Manager has a leaderboard of your top referrers. Both turn engagement into a game. 2. Community leaderboard (Client Apps > Communities): Go to Client Apps > Communities, open your group and open Leaderboard. Set the level names and the points needed for each. 3. Name your levels: Make them fit your business. 4. Add rewards: In the group's settings, under Gamification & Rewards, unlock something at each level: a discount, a free session, early access. 5. Affiliate leaderboard (Marketing > Affiliate Manager): Marketing > Affiliate Manager shows your referrers ranked on the dashboard. Share the top three each month and thank them. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Set response time targets (SLAs) for your inbox https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/set-response-time-targets Conversations turn orange when a reply is due soon and red when it's overdue, so no one is left waiting. 1. How it works: An SLA is a promise of how fast you reply. Once it's on, every unanswered conversation runs a timer. It goes orange at Due Soon and red at Overdue, so your team knows what to answer first. 2. Open the settings (CRM > Conversations > Conversation Settings): Go to CRM > Conversations > Conversation Settings and switch SLA Settings on. 3. Set the targets: Choose one target for every channel (Common SLA) or different ones per channel. Then set Due Soon and Overdue. 4. Decide what counts as a reply: Choose whether automated messages and AI agent replies stop the timer. If you want a human to always follow up, set both to not count. 5. Who can dismiss: Choose whether anyone or only admins can clear the timer without replying. Then Save. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Reviews, the full picture: native requests vs workflows https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/reputation-the-full-picture Two ways to ask for reviews, when to use each, plus AI replies, widgets and spam reviews. 1. Where everything lives (Marketing > Reputation): Marketing > Reputation has Overview, Requests, Business Reviews, Video Testimonials, Widgets, Listings, Google Business Profile optimisation and Reputation Settings. 2. Way 1, native requests: simplest: Click Send Review Request on a contact or from Reputation, and revenu texts or emails them your review link. In Reputation Settings > SMS Requests you choose when it sends, whether to repeat until clicked, and the most retries. 3. The message to use: Edit the template so it sounds like you. {{reputation.review_link}} becomes your review link. 4. Way 2, a workflow: most control: Build a workflow that starts when the job is done (appointment showed, opportunity won, invoice paid), waits a few hours, sends the review request, and follows up once if they didn't click. Use this when timing should follow the job, not a manual click. 5. Which to use: Native: you're small and send requests by hand after each job. Workflow: you want it automatic, tied to a stage or payment, with your own follow-up. Don't run both for the same customer or they'll get two asks. 6. Reply with AI: Reputation Settings > Reviews AI: Suggestive drafts a reply for you to approve, Auto Responses posts it after the wait time you set, Off stops it. Suggestive is the safe start. 7. Show reviews on your website: Reputation > Widgets builds a reviews widget. Copy its code into your website or funnel so new reviews appear on their own. 8. Deal with spam reviews: Reputation Settings > Spam Reviews lists reviews flagged as spam so you can check them before they hurt your rating. Doing it properly: Ask every customer, not just the happy ones. Filtering out unhappy customers before they can review breaks Google's rules and misleads consumers. Never offer a discount or gift in exchange for a review. Review request texts and emails include your business name and a way to opt out. AI replies must not make promises or share a customer's details. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Keep your existing business number https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/keep-your-existing-number Move (port) your number to revenu, or keep it where it is and use it as your caller ID. 1. Two options: Porting moves the number to revenu, so calls and texts on it run through your inbox, AI receptionist and missed call text back. Caller ID verification keeps the number with your current provider and only shows it when you call out from revenu. Texts can't come from a verified caller ID. 2. To port: Send revenu a recent bill from your current provider and the account holder's details. The port usually takes a few business days. Don't cancel your old service until the port is done. 3. What to send: Copy this into an email to support. 4. Until it moves: Forward the old number to your revenu number so nothing's missed in the meantime. Full guide: https://revenu.com.au/support Checked 2026-10-29. ### Get a text or email when a new lead comes in https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/get-alerts-for-new-leads An internal notification tells you or your team the moment someone enquires. 1. How it works: A workflow watches for the thing you care about (a form, a booking, a reply) and sends a message to you, not the customer. That's an internal notification. 2. Make the workflow (Automations > Workflows): Go to Automations > Workflows, click + Create Workflow and start from scratch. Add a trigger: Form Submitted, Appointment Booked, or Customer Replied. 3. Add the alert: Add the Internal Notification action. Choose SMS, email or an in-app notification, and pick the user or type the number. 4. Get it on your phone: Install the revenu mobile app and allow notifications, so new messages and leads ping you too. 5. Publish: Switch the workflow to Published and save. Test with a dummy form submission. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Stop follow-ups once they reply or book https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/stop-follow-ups-when-they-reply Make a follow-up sequence end the moment the customer answers, so they don't get chased after saying yes. 1. Why it matters: Nothing annoys a customer more than 'just following up' after they've booked. Workflows can stop on their own when the customer acts. 2. Stop on reply (Automations > Workflows): Open the workflow, go to its Settings and turn on Stop on response. Any reply ends their run. 3. Stop when they book: Add a Goal Event step for Appointment booked (or opportunity won, or invoice paid). When it happens, the contact jumps to the goal and skips the rest. 4. Remove them from other sequences: In your booking workflow, add Remove from Workflow for the nurture sequences, so every chase stops at once. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Add a group of existing contacts to a workflow https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/add-contacts-to-a-workflow-in-bulk Put a whole list through a sequence at once, like a reactivation campaign. 1. Pick the contacts (CRM > Contacts): Go to CRM > Contacts, open the smart list you want or filter, then tick the contacts (or select all). 2. Add to workflow: From the bulk actions, choose Add to Workflow, pick the workflow and confirm. You can drip them in batches so they don't all go at once. 3. Check the workflow is published: Drafts don't run. Publish first. Doing it properly: Only add contacts who agreed to hear from you. Contacts on DND are skipped. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Auto-assign new leads to your team https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/auto-assign-new-leads Share new leads between staff automatically, so someone owns every enquiry. 1. Make the workflow (Automations > Workflows): Automations > Workflows > + Create Workflow. Trigger: Contact Created or Form Submitted. 2. Add Assign to User: Add the Assign to User action and pick the staff. With more than one, it shares leads round robin. Tick the option to only assign unassigned contacts so existing owners don't change. 3. Tell them: Add an Internal Notification to the assigned user so they know it's theirs. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Send birthday messages automatically https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/send-birthday-messages A workflow that sends a happy birthday (and an offer, if you like) on the day. 1. Make the workflow (Automations > Workflows): Automations > Workflows > + Create Workflow. Add the Birthday Reminder trigger and set it to the day of the birthday. 2. Add the message: Add Send SMS or Send Email. 3. Let it repeat: Turn on Allow Re-entry so it runs every year, then publish. Doing it properly: A birthday offer is marketing: it needs consent and a way to opt out. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Connect another app with a webhook https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/connect-another-app-with-a-webhook Send data in from another tool (or out to it) when there's no ready-made integration. 1. What a webhook is: A webhook is a web address that receives data. The other app sends details (name, phone, what they did) to the address, and a revenu workflow starts with that data. 2. Data in (Automations > Workflows): Create a workflow with the Inbound Webhook trigger. Copy the address it gives you into the other app's webhook settings, send a test, then map the fields (name, email, phone) in the Create or Update Contact action. 3. Data out: Add the Webhook action to any workflow to send contact details to another app's address when something happens. 4. Check for a ready-made one first: Many apps already connect without webhooks. See the integrations list. Full guide: /integrations Checked 2026-10-29. ### Block out holidays and days off https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/block-out-holidays Stop bookings on public holidays, leave days or a long lunch. 1. Open the calendar view (CRM > Calendars > Calendar View): Go to CRM > Calendars > Calendar View and click + New. 2. Choose Blocked off time: Switch to the Blocked off time tab, pick the staff member and calendar, set the date and time range, and add a title like Public holiday. Save. 3. Whole closures (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): For a regular closed day, change the calendar's weekly hours in its Availability section instead. For a one-off date, use date-specific hours there. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Book a client in yourself https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/book-a-client-in-yourself Add a booking for a customer who rang or walked in. 1. Open the calendar view (CRM > Calendars > Calendar View): Go to CRM > Calendars > Calendar View and click + New (or click a time slot). 2. Fill it in: Pick the calendar and contact, the date and slot, and the status. Book appointment sends their usual confirmation. 3. Need a time outside hours?: Choose Custom under Date & time to book a time that isn't an open slot. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Add buffer time and minimum notice to bookings https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/add-buffer-time-and-notice Leave travel or clean-up time between jobs, and stop last-minute bookings. 1. Open the calendar (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Go to CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars and edit the calendar. 2. Availability: In Availability set your weekly hours and the buffer before and after each booking (say 30 minutes for travel). 3. Booking rules: In Booking rules set the minimum notice (for example 4 hours, so no one books for 20 minutes from now), how far ahead people can book, and the most bookings per day. 4. Save and test: Save, then open your booking link. Times should now leave gaps and respect the notice. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Ask intake questions when someone books https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/ask-questions-when-they-book Attach a form to your calendar so you know the address, job type or details before you arrive. 1. Make the form (Sites > Forms): Build a form in Sites > Forms with the questions you need. Use custom fields so answers save on the contact. 2. Questions worth asking: Keep it short. Three or four questions at most. 3. Attach it to the calendar (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Edit the calendar, open Advanced settings > Form & confirmation, and pick your form. 4. Photos: Add a file upload field to the form so people can send a photo of the job. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Let clients cancel or reschedule, and set a policy https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/set-a-cancellation-policy Give customers a link to change their booking, with your rules on how late they can do it. 1. Open the policy settings (CRM > Calendars > Meeting Calendars): Edit the calendar, open Advanced settings > Notifications & policies. 2. Set your rules: Allow cancelling and rescheduling, and set how close to the time they can still do it (for example up to 24 hours before). 3. Write the policy: It shows on the booking page and confirmation. 4. Use the links: Confirmation and reminder messages include the reschedule and cancel links automatically. Doing it properly: If you keep a deposit for late cancellations, say so clearly before they pay. Checked 2026-10-29. ### Mark no shows and follow them up https://knowledge.revenu-lab.com/jobs/mark-no-shows Record who didn't turn up and send them a friendly rebooking message automatically. 1. People who share one get merged. 1. How matching works: When a form, booking or import comes in, revenu looks for an existing contact with the same email, then the same phone. If it finds one, it updates that contact instead of making a new one. Couples or families sharing an email or phone end up as one contact. 2. Imports always merge: Importing a CSV updates matching contacts. Check your file for shared emails before you import. 3.
